Exhibition Design
150 years of Wilhelmshaven
Wilhelmshaven was created practically out of nowhere as a planned city for the Navy. Immigration, two world wars and their consequences have shaped the city and its inhabitants over the past 150 years. A special exhibition in the Wilhelmshaven Coastal Museum shows the history of the town using objects from its own collection and loans from the Naval Museum. It also takes the personale perspective of the Wilhelmshaven people into account. Reduced graphic forms, maritime elements, generous white space and a flexible room concept define the core elements of the exhibition architecture and graphics.
